Xentry DAS basic intro

This is Mercedes repairer must have diagnostic tool, in 3rd picture is the interface namely "SD Connect" it connect to OBD port and communicate with your "Compact 4" thru wire or wireless.
This diagnostic tool using window XP to run Mercedes in house softwares, it's contain "WIS",
"Xentry", "DAS" and some of that come with "EPC", currenly 09/2013 is the lastest version.

Xentry is to diagnose Mercedes lastest launch vehicle, such as W212.
DAS is for older model like W211, W221, W171 and etc. which mean DAS going to be history....
WIS is technical data contain lot of useful information, example "schematic", install & diamantle procedure.
EPC is for us to check part number and illustration.
